Mark starts new season of comedy in Barnard Castle

BARNEY BOUND: Mark Watson

TEESDALE’S Funny Way To Be Comedy kicks off its autumn season with a gig by Mark Watson performing his tour show,The Infinite Show.

Inspired by the mostly alarming state of the world his children are growing up in, and a genuine, urgent desire to do something about it, this show is about empathy.

As impassioned as ever, he offers a high octane mix of jokes and rants.

Mark Watson has won numerous awards in Britain and Australia. He regularly appears on TV, has had his own cult Radio 4 series. He has appeared regularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is the author of six books.

Promoter Peter Dixon said: “Mark has been to Barnard Castle on two previous occasions in the last five years and each time was a massive success. He is one of the great comedians of this current generation of performers who is also involved in many other aspects of the comedy industry. We are thrilled that he’s bringing his new tour show to Barnard Castle.”

Tickets for the show, at The Witham, on Saturday, September 14, are £19, available now from funnywaytobe .com or The Witham box office on 01833 631107.
