Lucy leads the way with tour stop in Barnard Castle

BARNEY BOUND: Lucy Beaumont

AN evening of “proper belly laughs, off-beat humour and surreal anecdotes” is on the cards when comedian Lucy Beaumont brings her new show to Barnard Castle next year.
Space Mam heads to The Witham on Friday, April 2, and is the first new show announcement from Funny Way To Be comedy for next year.
Promoter Peter Dixon said: “We’ve been massive fans of Lucy Beaumont since she broke onto the comedy scene and we booked her for a 20 minute routine at The Parish Hall, in Barnard Castle, in 2013.
“Since then she has come a long way, but she regularly keeps in touch and has performed in Barnard Castle a few times.”
He added: “This show is part of tour she is undertaking following a highly successful period of working on TV and radio.
“It promises to be a great evening. We’ve also tried to keep the price as low as possible and at £12 it’s something of a bargain.”
Tickets are available from www.funnywaytobe.com and The Witham box office on 01833 631107.
