YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HAT ON: The cast of The Full Monty

THE stage version of the classic film The Full Monty comes to the region next week.

The Full Monty is one of the most acclaimed British films of all time and the stage play has become one of the most acclaimed theatrical productions.

For those unfamiliar with the plot, it follows six out-of-work, impoverished steelworkers from Sheffield with nothing to lose.

They come up with idea of becoming the North’s version of the Chippendales, baring all in an effort to raise a few quid.

Based on film and adapted for the stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, the hilarious and heartfelt production has received standing ovations every night and features the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones.

For this show, the cast is being led by Gary Lucy – well known as Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks, Danny Pennant in EastEnders, DS Will Fletcher in The Bill, Kyle Pascoe in Footballer’s Wives and a winner of Dancing on Ice.
