BARNEY BOUND: Heidi Talbot will perform songs from her latest project Sing It For A LIfetime when she visits The Witham

FOLK fans are in for a treat later this month with the visit to Barnard Castle of Irish-born Scotland-based star Heidi Talbot.
She is touring her latest project, Sing It For A Lifetime, which was recorded in a sound-proofed room at home after a planned recording stint in Louisiana was cancelled because of Covid,.
An international group of musicians, including her friend Mark Knopfler, somehow came together for the recording and the result is a crowning achievement in her 20-year career.
She will take to the stage at The Witham on Friday, March 25 at 8pm.
Tickets are £15 in advance and £17 on the door. For full details and booking, got to www.thewitham.org.uk.
