Comedian Simon’s rescheduled UK tour includes Barnard Castle date

GEM OF A SHOW: Simon Evans is heading to Barney in November

MAKE a date with funnyman Simon Evans, whose extensive UK tour – which includes a date in Barnard Castle – has been rescheduled for later in the year.
He will bring his Work of the Devil show to The Witham on Saturday, November 28.
He has been a regular face on the comedy circuit for the last two decades and has performed popular shows at venues and festivals around the world.
In addition to hosting five series of his own show Simon Evans Goes to Market on BBC Radio 4, Simon is also a regular on The News Quiz on that channel.
He has appeared twice on Live at the Apollo and on Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, starred in a series of Stand up for the Week, and has become an increasingly familiar face on current affairs and debate shows including BBC’s Question Time, This Week and The Big Questions.
Promoter Peter Dixon described the comedian’s new show as “a gem” .
“I saw it last year at Edinburgh and marked it as the best show I saw over the whole month.
“He weaves an incredible story together in a way that only one of the UK’s best storytellers can.”
Tickets priced £15 and £13 for concessions are available online at www.funnywaytobe. com.
