Castle Players hit the stage with three one-act Alan Bennett plays

THE Castle Players are back on stage tonight (Thursday, November 11) with three one-act plays by Alan Bennett.

The group are peforming Green Forms, A Visit from Miss Prothero and Say Something Happened, at The Witham, Barnard Castle.

Green Forms is set in an office of a large corporation the late 1970s, when it suddenly dawns on two members of staff that everything is about to change.

A Visit From Miss Prothero is also set in the 70s when Mr Dodsworth’s post retirement contentment is shaken by a visit from Miss Prothero.

Say Something Happened revolves around an elderly couple who are being interviewed for a council warden scheme they don’t think they need.

They plays are being performed nightly (7.30pm) tonight (Thursday), tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, and also include a matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday.
