Cannon and Ball’s Barnard Castle show put back to March 2021

NEW DATE: Cannon and Ball will now perform at The Witham on March 30

COMEDY legends Cannon and Ball’s Barnard Castle show planned for June has been put back to March 30 next year.
Promoter Peter Dixon, from Funny Way to Be Comedy said: “Cannon & Ball was the last of our summer shows to be moved which means our next show is planned for the September 4 with Stephen Bailey.
“We had to move the evening a full ten month because of their very busy diary and TV schedules.
“We still have a handful of tickets left if anyone wants to join us for what is sure to be a great night of traditional comedy.”
The show will feature the duo presenting an evening of their own unique brand of humour plus an audience Q&A session.
Tickets are £18 and £16 for concessions, and are available from www.funnywaytobe.com.
Meanwhile, a gig by Bridget Christie, earmarked for October 23.
Although Funny Way to Be hopes to be back in action in the autumn, Ms Christie is unable to prepare and tour her show as planned.
She will now appear at The Witham in October 2021.
Mr Dixon said: “It’s disappointing that we will not be seeing Bridget this year but as we’ve been trying to book her for many years, we thought it doubly important to make sure the show was postponed rather than cancelled.”
