Britain’s Got Talent star heads to dale

ON STAGE: Daliso Chaponda

THE comedy keeps on coming to Barnard Castle.

The latest big name to perform will be Daliso Chaponda, who shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent a couple of years ago.

In his new stage show, he looks at disgraced celebrities and historical figures who were once admired.

There’s also the small matter of family arrests, exploding buildings in his home country and the enterprising Malawian who tried to blackmail him.

Promoter Peter Dixon, of Funny Way to Be Comedy, said: “Daliso is an adorable performer and has an extremely natural approach while on stage.

“His chat with the crowd is entirely friendly encouraging everyone to have a good time. It’s a delight to see him rise to such prominence following his exposure on Britain’s Got Talent.”

Tickets for the show, on Saturday, November 2, are at £15 from funnywaytobe.com or the Witham Box Office.
