ART INTERRUPTED: Holly Magdalene Scott is back at The Station

PRINTMAKER Holly Magdalene Scott is back with new work a year after lockdown restrictions halted her debut solo show in Richmond.
After taking the prize for best newcomer at Great North Art Show, in Ripon, Teesdale artist Holly was set to showcase her work at The Station when her exhibition was cut short.
More than a year later Ms Scott is showing her award winning collection of bird themed linocuts alongside new work completed during lockdown at The Station
She said: “I am thrilled to be back at The Station for its reopening.
“The exhibition will feature a new body of work inspired by wildlife closer to home.
“For many people nature has been a source of solace during a hard time and has fostered a closer connection with wildlife in our everyday lives.
“It has been a real privilege to spend time wildlife watching in my own garden and gain an appreciation for the small things such as moths, butterflies and mice.”
She added: “I hope my work conveys my fascination with and affection for these creatures.”
Fur and Feather: An Exhibition of Linocuts by Holly Magdalene Scott runs until May 13 at The Station, Richmond.
