HEARTWARMING: Tiny Heroes is one of three theatre shows coming to Staindrop in the next few weeks

THE first in a short season of live theatre shows will be staged at Staindrop’s Scarth Hall next month.

On Sunday, November 10, at 6pm, in conjunction with the Highlights Rural Touring Scheme Same Same But Different will be performed.

The production is a new family show mixing dance, storytelling and live music to create a playful and colourful world exploring curiosities and fears.

The Scarth Hall’s Ed Chicken said: “Directors Sonia and Sarvar Sabri are renowned for their dazzling and lively performances.”

Next up, on Saturday, November 23, adult themes prevail when Revelations comes to Staindrop.

It is described as an “epic show combining story, comedy and song about love, death, God and chicken nuggets” .

The season concludes on Tuesday, December 3, with the visit of playwright Daniel Bye’s Tiny Heroes, which comes to the Scarth Hall in association with Stockton ARC,

Tiny Heroes is a show about the people who saved your life, your day, or your bacon. The people who took the time, took a stand, or took a chance. The people who tried, even if they failed.

Mr Chicken promised a “heart-warming and thought-provoking” show, which features music, song and spellbinding visuals.

“So why not support the village hall, challenge yourself to see something different and get your tickets early – from the post office, the village hall or ticketsource.co.uk,” he added.
