Andy and Moray hit the road after album launch

ON THE ROAD: About the Humans

FOLLOWING the success of his latest album, The Beast Below, Teesdale singer and songwriter, Andy Yeadon is preparing for a busy summer season of gigs with his newly-named band, About the Humans.

The band will be kicking off the first in a series of summer concerts with a performance at Stainton Village Hall on Saturday, June 8, from 7.30pm.

They will play some of the acoustic tracks from the album.

Mr Yeadon said: “We will be playing at a variety of places including at both of Mr Foxes’ gin festivals in Darlington and The Witham.

“But we’re also booked to go further afield with festivals at Warwick and Brightlingsea in Essex.”

The band, which has until now been without a name, is made up of Mr Yeadon and Moray Nellis, but will feature collaborators including long-standing collaborator and violin maestro, Paul Hughes.

Other top musicians who feature on the album will also be making an appearance.

At Stainton, there will be a licensed bar and food available on the night. Tickets are £10 per person and early booking is recommended as numbers are limited. For more information or to book contact Jane Teasdale on 01833 638348 or Sean Williams on 07952 925542.
