Acclaimed Chantel to preview new material

DARLINGTON DATE: Chantel McGregor is playing at the Forum

ROCK fans are being promised a preview of new material when singer-songwriter Chantel McGregor comes to Darlington this week.

The acclaimed singer and guitarist will perform a solo acoustic show at the Forum.

Her performance will feature reworked tracks from her two albums to date – 2011’s Like No Other and the 2-15 follow-up Like Control – plus new songs and some rare cover versions.

A teenage guitar prodigy, she went on to achieve a first class honours degree in popular music at Leeds College of Music before turning professional, since when her hard rock style has helped build a growing fan base.

She is currently working on material for her third album as well as recording an acoustic set.

The show at the Forum, in Borough Road Darlington, takes place on Friday, November 22, at 7.30pm.
