WALKIES: Hutton Magna welcomed a record entry for this year's Great Global Greyhound Walk

Great Global Greyhound Walk

WE had a beautiful walk at Hutton Magna this year.

The weather was terrific, after the previous day’s downpour.

Turning out for the walk were five greyhounds, three lurchers, a cockapoo, a maltipoo, four Podencos and two labradors.

It was a brilliant turn out, the best we have ever had. It was great fun with lots of chat and the dogs got on so well together. We raised £83, which will expand when left over tombola items are sold at the next Hutton Magna car boot sale. The money will be split between several dog charities.

We would like to hear if anyone has got, or is considering getting a greyhound as a result of the publicity generated by the walk.

If so could you message us on our Facebook page Teesdale Great Global Greyhound Walk.
