Evenwood hammered Langley Park on Saturday, with all-rounder Shahid Khan the star off the show.

A quickfire 59 from skipper Billy Teesdale and Thomas Teesdale’s well made 63 laid the foundations for Evenwood’s 254-7.

Then it was over to Khan, who produced an excellent spell of medium pace taking 9-30 in 11.3 overs.

Meanwhile, at Ushaw Moor, the hosts and league leaders were defeated by Littletown, who defended 172.

With just eight points separating Littleton in second place and Evenwood, it is all to play for on Saturday.

Evenwood host Dawdon while Littletown are at home to Ryhope, with a maximum of 30 points available to the winners of each game.
