Popular charity golf day returns

TEEING UP FOR CHARITY: From left

MEMBERS of Barnard Castle Rotary Club are preparing to tee off for good causes.

The club is holding a charity golf day at the town’s course on Friday, June 24, and is looking for teams to sign up.

The format is four ball pairs stableford, and various prizes will be awarded for winning scores, longest drive and nearest the pin.

Rotary’s David Yeadon said: “All monies raised will go to local, national and international good causes.

“This ever-popular local event has now been running for more than 20 years.”
