SOME of the best loved comedy characters are coming to Barnard Castle.
Del Boy, Uncle Albert, Rodney, Boycie and Trigger will all feature in a new tribute show to the TV classic Only Fools and Horses.
Phoney Fools and Horses will be staged at The Witham on Friday, September 23, with tickets now on sale.
It is billed as an “homage” to the long-running classic, and features a three-strong cast.
If Rodders looks familiar, it’s because he will be played by Phil Hoyles, who delighted audiences as Nurse Nellie, the dame in last December’s panto at The Witham Sleeping Beauty.
Also in the cast is impressionist and Britain’s Got Talent star Drew Cameron. The show features a specially scripted storyline which producers say will bring a smile to audiences young and old.
The show is inspired by the classic BBC comedy Only Fools and Horses. The content is entirely original and no use is made of scripts or other materials from the TV programmes.
Phoney Fools and Horses is not linked to or authorised in any way by the BBC, Shazam or others involved in the TV programmes.
The show is suitable for those aged 12+. Tickets are £22 and £20. For more details and to book go to thewitham.org.uk
